Installing ADB Drivers for Windows 10
To install an ADB driver for the first time on Windows 10, do the following:
Connect your Android smartphone to your computer's USB port.
In the left pane of Computer Management, select Device Manager.
In the Device Manager's right pane, locate and expand your portable device or other device based on what you see.
Right-click on the connected device name and select Update Drive.
In the Hardware Update Wizard, select Browse My Computer for driver software, and then click Next.
Click Browse and go to the ADB Drive folder. For example, Google's ADB driver is found in android_sdk \ extra \ google \ usb_driver in.
Click Next to install the drivers.
Installing ADB Drivers for Windows 8.1
To install the ADB driver on Windows 8.1 for the first time, do the following:
Connect the Android smartphone to the USB port of the computer.
Access the search as follows:
Touch screen: On your computer, push it from the right side of the screen and touch Search.
Using a mouse: Point to the lower right corner of the screen, hover over the mouse pointer and click Search.
In the search box, type Device Manager and click.
Double-click on the device category and double-click on the device you want.
Click the Drive tab, click on Update Drive and follow the instructions.
